Guidelines on Making a Transcription

REMINDERS:

 

1. Please read the instructions before making your transcription.

2. Do not forget to put the lecture details (Subject, Lecture no. and title, Lecturer, & Date of Lecture).

3. Do not forget to put your names in the footer.

4. On the succeeding pages, please change the header with the TITLE OF THE SUBJECT (e.g., ANATOMY) and the LECTURE NO. and TITLE (e.g. ANATOMY: 4.1 DIGESTIVE SYSTEM)

5. Include relevant QUOTATIONS from the lecturer.

6. Observe proper labeling of tables and figures. Put a 1 1/2 BLACK BORDER on every figure (see template).

7. Site sources properly (as much as possible, use APA format).

8. The TRANS HEAD has the right to return the transcription if it was not properly written, formatted, or it was completely the same with last year's trans, i.e., "COPY AND PASTE"
